Privacy policy

This page explains, plainly, what we do with the personal information you give us when you ask for a quote, get in touch, or use this website. If anything here isn’t clear, email us at hello@willesden-removals.co.uk and we’ll happily explain it.

Who we are

Willesden Removals provides home, business, storage, man-and-van and European removals across Willesden and NW London. Under UK data-protection law, we are the data controller for the information you share with us through this site.

What we collect

When you fill in the quote form we collect what you enter: your name, phone number and email address, the pickup and drop-off addresses, an optional moving date, and any notes you add. If you email or call, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that message or conversation.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

• To prepare and send your quote, and to arrange and carry out your move — taking steps at your request and performing our agreement with you.
• To answer enquiries and provide the service you’ve asked for.
• To keep the records we’re required to keep, and to guard the site against spam and abuse — our legitimate interests and legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t pass it around. We share it only with the providers that help us run the business — the system we use to receive and manage quote enquiries, our email provider, and, for a move abroad, the parties needed to handle transport and customs. Each acts under an appropriate agreement and only for your move.

The tools this site uses

The quote form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us tell genuine enquiries from automated ones; its use is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to see how the site is used. Your quote details are sent securely to the system we use to manage enquiries so we can get back to you.

How long we keep it

We hold enquiry and move records for as long as we need them to provide the service, meet our legal and accounting duties, and deal with anything that comes up afterwards. Once we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we’re not required to keep it — and you can object to certain uses. To make a request, email hello@willesden-removals.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), though we’d be grateful for the chance to put things right first.

We may update this policy now and then. The version on this page is the current one — do check back if you’d like to see whether anything has changed.
